SPECIFICATION:-

• Raw materials required for the manufacturing of each tool shall be as per bill of material of the relevant drawing. Allowance for cutting, Machining etc. are not included in the Bill of Material.
• No free issue material shall be supplied to the manufacturer by the purchaser. All the raw materials have to be procured by the supplier for fabrication purpose. Raw materials Material test certificate shall be submitted for approval before start of fabrication/machining work.
• Equivalent material may be used with the prior approval by the purchaser whenever material confirming to drawings requirements are not available.
• Poor workmanship shall not be allowed.
• Wherever not specified in drawing, all the sharp edges shall be removed and deburred
• All welding shall be done by qualified welders. Qualification Certificate shall be reviewed before start ofwork.
• No development and fixture charges shall be payable to the supplier.
• Monthly Progress report of different tooling shall be sent to Indenter by the end of each month.
• Each tool (duly identified) in assembled condition shall be offered for inspection & acceptance with all the relevant dimensional inspection report of each tool. All finished components & assembly shall be inspected 100% for dimensional checks.
• No ovality, bend, twist shall be allowed.
• Concentricity of bore & straightness of tools should be maintained.
• Supplier shall be responsible for successful performance & operation of each tool. Though drawings are fully self-explained supplier may contact purchaser to know the exact operation of tool and after understanding, he should start manufacture the tools.
• Each tool shall be identified with proper tag showing drawing number & title of tool after fabrication & assembly.
• The Tools/fixtures covered under this indent shall be guaranteed for the quality of materials and workmanship for the period of 18 months from the date of receipt and further inspection at our site. In case of any defects found in material or workmanship, the same shall be rectified/repaired within the guarantee period on free of cost.
• No extra charges shall be paid to the supplier for arranging the performance testing of all tools at our site & minor rectification if required.
• Stage wise inspection by indenter or his authorized representative shall be applicable, therefore the party has to communicate well in advanced. A QAP shall be prepared for approval of indenter or his authorized representative.
• Dismantling, handling, transportation, inspection, packing, shifting and unloading of material at purchaser’s site is in the supplier’s scope.
• The assembly of tools/fixtures shall be done at purchaser’s site, if required
